Released on 09/30/24,  Killer Highway 17 is our debut album, a collection of 14 original songs. While firmly rooted in traditional rock, Derecho Party isn’t afraid to mix in some blues, bluegrass, folk and Canadiana.  Each member of the band contributes writing credits, giving the record a rich variety of influences and voices. Hailing from British Columbia, Cape Breton and the Ottawa Valley, the songs are saturated with the lived experience of growing up in Canada.
